【摘要】:Theabilityofapaintorcoatingtoresistdeteriorationofitsphysicalandopticalpropertiescausedbyexposuretolight,heat,andwatercanbeverysignificantformanyapplications.Thispracticeisintendedtoinducepropertychangesassociatedwithenduseconditions,includingtheeffectsofsunlight,moisture,andheat.Theexposureusedinthispracticeisnotintendedtosimulatethedeteriorationcausedbylocalizedweatherphenomenasuchasatmosphericpollution,biologicalattack,andsaltwaterexposure.Cautionx2014;Variationinresultsmaybeexpectedwhendifferentoperatingconditionsareused.Therefore,noreferencetotheuseofthispracticeshallbemadeunlessaccompaniedbyareportpreparedaccordingtoSection10thatdescribesthespecificoperatingconditionsused.RefertoPracticeG151fordetailedinformationonthecaveatsapplicabletouseofresultsobtainedaccordingtothispractice.Note28212;Additionalinformationonsourcesofvariabilityandonstrategiesforaddressingvariabilityinthedesign,executionanddataanalysisoflaboratoryacceleratedexposuretestsisfoundinGuideG141.Thespectralpowerdistributionoflightfromaxenon-arcissignificantlydifferentfromthatproducedinlightandwaterexposuredevicesusingcarbon-arcorotherlightsources.Thetypeandrateofdegradationandtheperformancerankingsproducedbyexposurestoxenon-arcscanbemuchdifferentfromthoseproducedbyexposurestoothertypesoflaboratorylightsources.Interlaboratorycomparisonsarevalidonlywhenalllaboratoriesusethesamelightsource,filtertype,andexposureconditions.Reproducibilityoftestresultsbetweenlaboratorieshasbeenshowntobegoodwhenthestabilityofmaterialsisevaluatedintermsofperformancerankingcomparedtoothermaterialsortoacontrol.,Therefore,exposureofasimilarmaterialofknownperformance(acontrol)atthesametimeasthetestmaterialsisstronglyrecommended.Itisrecommendedthatatleastthreereplicatesofeachmaterialbeexposedtoallowforstatisticalevaluationofresults.TestresultswilldependuponthecarethatistakentooperatetheequipmentaccordingtoPracticeG155.Significantfactorsincluderegulationoflinevoltage,freedomfromsaltsorotherdepositsfromwater,temperatureandhumiditycontrol,andconditionandageoftheburnerandfilters.Allreferencestoexposuresinaccordancewiththispracticemustincludeacompletedescriptionofthetestcycleused.1.1ThispracticecoverstheselectionoftestconditionsforacceleratedexposuretestingofcoatingsandrelatedproductsinxenonarcdevicesconductedaccordingtoPracticesG151andG155.Thispracticealsocoversthepreparationoftestspecimens,thetestconditionssuitedforcoatings,andtheevaluationoftestresults.Table1describescommonlyusedtestconditions.Note18212;ISO11341alsodescribesxenon-arcexposuresofpaintsandcoatings.However,theexposureconditionsdescribedinISO11341aredifferentthanthoselistedinTable1.1.2ThevaluesSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associated......
