【摘要】:Thescleroscopeisareboundhardnesstesterwithascaledividedinto140equalparts.Forcarbonandgraphitematerials,thereisnoestablishedcorrelationbetweentheScleroscopehardnessscaleandotherhardnessscales.Thetestisusefulintheevaluationandthemanufacturingcontrolofcarbonandgraphitematerials.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheapparatusandprocedurefordeterminingthehardnessofcarbonandgraphitematerialsusingtheModelC-2scleroscopewiththehammercalibratedforuseoncarbonandgraphitematerialswithparticlessmallerthan0.8mm.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
